World Tai Chi and Qigong Day Picnic Seahurst Park, Saturday April 26, 2008. 10 AM - 2 PM

Bring your friends and family to celebrate Tai Chi and Qigong at the Seahurst Park, south pavilion. SW Seahurst Park Road, Burien. This is a Puget Sound beach park so an extra layer of clothing is recommended. We plan to get together around 9:45 and start playing Tai Chi at 10am in celebration of Tai Chi Day. Noon will be a pot luck lunch. The club will provide potstickers, vege-sushi rolls, a meat platter and tea. Club members: dress up in your tai chi shirt!

Summer Events and Classes

In 2007 we had several opportunities to practice Wudang and Yang style tai chi together. We also arranged an introductory Bagua class with Master Gui Bing Jin. We learned the 64 Bagua postures and how to develop qi by walking the bagua circle. The class was very enjoyable. It was a small class so we got a lot of one-on-one with the teacher, and learned a lot. Stay tuned for upcoming announcements about planned events.
